Had an amazing dinner here with friends tonight! Our meals were fantastic, top notch flavours and freshness. Sam, the chef, came out to say hello and sent out a spectacular free eggplant tower appetizer when he heard it was my birthday, and then later gave us a free dessert as well. Can’t say enough great things about our experience here, we will definitely be back. Thank you!! Edit: this review was for the Roncesvalles location. We've been back several times since and the food and service remain consistently excellent.

I’ve been wanting to try Middle Eastern cuisine for a long time, and this place did not disappoint. A friend recommended it, saying it’s truly authentic—and they were right. Our server was incredibly patient and helpful, taking time to explain the menu and giving us space to decide without any pressure. After we placed our orders, he even suggested wine pairings that complemented our dishes perfectly. We ended up staying for about two hours, enjoying a warm and flavorful dinner. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish!

What's Not to Like? Happened upon this place while in the area. What a pleasant find. Will definitely return. Food Darna Sampler - all dips were delicious - I loved the muhammara - the smoke flavour (which I've never tasted in other mutabals I've had ) was the most pleasant surprise elevating it from good to delicious - the bread was served hot and paired nicely with the dips Kufta Tahini - dish was good - enjoyed the textural element that the onion brought - meat was well seasoned - as someone who enjoys heat, this dish was very mild but that's just a personal preference - overall, the dish was good - I'd try something else next time Layalina - the texture was the semolina was interesting, tapioca adjacent - in texture, not shape or size - the dessert overall was light - I'm a sucker for anything that has rose water - I'd get this again Service - our waiter was pleasant and confident that we would enjoy our food and return - she was right - we did and we will - I appreciate attentiveness and like it when dishes are removed from my table once I'm finished with them - this did not happen during our meal - not a deal-breaker but a preference - additionally, both times I wanted a water refill, I had to flag down our server rather than her check-in with us periodically without prompting - again, not a deal-breaker, just an observation - I'm going to chalk it up to the fact that she was the only person on the floor managing multiple tables - We really appreciated the chef checking in with us to see how we liked the food and also to review the dessert offerings - It seemed like he cared that we enjoyed our food - We did and we'll return In summary, what a lovely option on the Bayview / Millwood strip. Just tried this place and it was excellent t. The food felt so fresh like it just came from a garden. Everything was good - nothing was missed! I absolutely highly recommend this place for casual or formal dinner. The location is great and very warm atmosphere. I will be back for sure!!

Absolutely incredible food, and Nancy was an impeccable server. So kind, knowledgeable! She was serving the entire restaurant and doing bar and not one time did we feel rushed, or like we were waiting on anything. Highly recommend.

Delicious Middle Eastern food! Third time coming here. The sampler is an excellent way to try the various dips. The mixed platter has kebab, chicken and beef tenderloin which was delicious. We had the Jarjeer salad as well.

Our 1st time here. The food and services are excellent. We had falafel, Dana sampler, beef tenderloin skewers and siadiyeh (pan seared seabass fillets). Highly recommended

What a lovely dining experience with delicious, beautifully presented food. Our server was friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. We sat in the outdoor patio area. We live in the area and look forward to coming back soon!
